Job Information

REPORTS TO: STUDIO LEAD

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: PART-TIME, 12+ HOURS PER WEEK

Compensation: $18.50 / hour

Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Greet all guests with warmth, presence, and professionalism

  • Provide tours and share information about classes, pricing, and studio offerings

  • Manage guest check-ins and ensure smooth class transitions

  • Respond to guest inquiries in person and via email, maintaining tone and standards in all communication

Studio Operations

  • Complete studio opening and closing procedures accurately and on time

  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout shifts

  • Ensure proper use of Mariana Tek for check-in, class management, and sales

  • Support inventory and retail product management

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with teachers and fellow team members to maintain a seamless class flow

  • Communicate proactively with the Studio Manager about any issues or needs

  • Support team culture through dependability, flexibility, and a solutions-oriented approach

  • Step into additional studio tasks as needed

Key Requirements

Must-Haves

  • A strong service mindset and passion for hospitality

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfort working early mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

  • Must be comfortable working in a warm environment, as the studio is often heated for classes.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience using Mariana Tek or similar studio software

  • Previous leadership or operations experience

  • Background in wellness, fitness, or retail

Measures of Success

  • Guests consistently report positive experiences and feel seen, supported, and welcomed

  • Communication with guests (in-person and written) is prompt, clear, and brand-aligned

  • Studio environment is consistently clean, calm, and class-ready

  • You manage all shift duties independently and reliably across all shift types

  • You contribute positively to team culture and uphold Jaybird’s core values: Creating Amazement, Growth Mindset, and Pure Connection

  • You demonstrate ownership of the role by proactively learning systems, asking questions, and offering support where needed
