3 Words to Describe My Teaching Style:
Embodied, freeing, intentional
My music style:
Rhythmic electronic, mixed with some folky vibes with lyrics that help you drop in to your body, and beats that help you move intuitively
I fly with Jaybird Because:
I fly with Jaybird because it’s a space to move freely, release control, and reconnect with strength through presence rather than perfection.
My journey to jaybird:
My background in dance and acting taught me how powerful it is to move from instinct rather than thought. That led me to yoga, which I’ve taught for over 10 years, guiding people to reconnect with their bodies through breath and awareness. I later co-founded Mysa Nordic Spa, deepening my understanding of release, recovery, and nervous system regulation. I resonate with Jaybird because the practice asks for us to simply show up and move and feel whatever it is we are feeling. Teaching at Jaybird allows me to hold space for people to drop in, move freely, and leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more grounded.
What MiNdfulness Means to Me:
The space between inhales and exhales. When everything is still. When my breath and the movement and the music all align within my being. It’s like a full body surrender.
words to live by:
“The body knows the way.”
As someone who used to live primarily in her head, the number one thing that changed my life was learning when it’s time to sit and feel, and when it’s time to move.
