I believe in the direction Jaybird is providing for us - coming out of our heads and into our bodies.

My journey to jaybird:

Since leaving the advertising corporate world at quarter life crisis, I delved into learning about all my passions - the body, yoga, astrology, reiki, somatic therapy, and began running sensual yoga dance workshops, teaching meditation, creating art, acting, and offered 1:1 holistic health coaching, astrology readings and meditative guidance. Coming to Toronto by fate, and following the stars, I knew Jaybird would be a landing space for me, as well as Othership. Sharing my gift and guiding through voice, allowing for deeper connection to the body, a route back home to the body, is a passion that I am grateful I get to share.

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

Mindfulness to me means the ability to expand awareness from limited thinking to taking a deep breath and listening with your entire body. It's when the mind and the heart are in coherence with one another, as partners, instead of enemies. Mindfulness brings us back to the heart.

“Don't turn away. Keep your gaze on the bandaged place. That's where the light enters you.” - Rumi Because it's true! All wounds, hurts, pain, shadows are an opportunity for us to meet love, healing, pleasure and our own wholeness. If only we can stop running away, rejecting and denying it.
