I fly with Jaybird Because:
Jaybird was the first (and only) reformer I have ever done. I instantly fell in love with the classes, the studio space, the candlelight, the philosophies and knew that I had to be a part of this community. I completed over 150 classes, and then began teaching. Jaybird has always met me where I've been and given me the opportunity to leave the outside noise behind, and for 45-55min just deeply connect into my body through mindfulness, breath, and movement. That is so important to me, and I am so happy I can finally be a part of that for others.
My journey to jaybird:
I started working in gyms/fitness places when I was 17 years old, I was the youngest manager in the largest gym chain at 18, I got my personal trainers certificate (CPTN), started working at Sweat and Tonic before they even opened their doors to the public, fell in love with Jaybird, have 150+ jaybird reformer classes under my belt, did my training over the summer and am now teaching!
What MiNdfulness Means to Me:
Mindfulness means being fully present in my body, checking in with myself instead of being on autopilot. Taking a moment to breathe, notice whats going on in my body, and not trying to fix everything like I always do. Seeing how I'm feeling and moving without judgement, listening to my body, and taking space to slow down, reconnect, and reset.
words to live by:
Taylor Swift says "Everyone is jealous of what you have, no one is jealous of what it took to get there". This resonates with me a lot because growth isn't about the end result, its about the discipline, patience, and self-work that happened behind the scenes. It encourages me to stay on my own journey, trust the process, and show up consistently rather than constantly comparing myself to others.
