3 Words to Describe My Teaching Style:

Fun, Thoughtful, and Relatable

My music style:

Pop, EDM, Pop Rap

I fly with Jaybird Because:

It allows me to challenge myself while staying deeply connected to both my mind and body. This space has given me something I searched for in movement for years, a way to care for both my body and my mind at the same time. Jaybird creates an environment that fuels my drive, passion and determination. Jaybird brings excitement and energy to mindful movement, and helps me honour my resilience while always reminding me to meet myself with compassion.

My journey to jaybird:

Jaybird fostered a space where mindfulness could exist alongside energy and play, where I could move with excitement, shake my sillies out, and release comparison or competition. Movement shifted from forcing my body to perform to listening, responding, and honouring where I was at each day. I discovered challenge not in pushing harder, but in offering myself compassion, choosing kindness over control, and curiosity over judgement. This shift allowed me to care for my mind and body at the same time, building resilience while still meeting myself with softness. As I stepped into the role of instructor, my goal became to create a space that fosters passion, excitement, and determination, where we can meet ourselves and each other with both strength and softness.

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

Mindfulness means being connected and present with both my mind and body. It means carving out time in a busy, fast paced world to foster awareness to simultaneously challenge myself and care for myself. Mindfulness means finding a way to enjoy the meeting ground of determination and softness, where effort is balanced with compassion. It is my space to allow curiosity without judgment, effort without force and for care to be explored without a critical lens. Mindfulness for me is finding excitement and energy to refuel in a caring way that meets me where I am at on any given day.
