I fly with Jaybird Because:

To me Jaybird is a safe place to allow you to express yourself to your fullest. The dark space strips away the pressure to look a certain way and invites you to show up exactly as you are in that moment. It’s never about what it looks like, and all about how it feels.

My journey to jaybird:

My journey began 5 years ago when I started teaching barre, fueled by a love for movement and music. Though I started by completing my personal training certification, I quickly discovered that rhythm-based group fitness was where my true passion lived. For the past 3 years I’ve been teaching spin, blending my love of music, dancing, and community into every class. Jaybird allows me to create a space where fitness isn’t about perfection but about feeling free, having fun, and showing up as yourself. I weave in my passion for mindfulness practices with the high energy of spin, creating classes that challenge the body, uplift the spirit, and remind people that they are stronger than they think (not just physically but mentally).

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

To me, mindfulness is about being fully aware of where you are without judgment, no punishing, no rushing. It’s the practice of accepting the present moment as it is, and then moving forward with what you need from there. Every season of life looks different, but mindfulness reminds me that where I am right now is exactly where I’m meant to be.

I love this quote because perfectly captures the balance between acceptance and agency. It acknowledges that life will bring unexpected challenges, emotions, or people your way, that isn’t in your control. But it reminds you that you do have the power to choose your response, your boundaries, and what you allow to affect your inner world. It’s about protecting your peace, staying intentional, and honoring yourself, even when external circumstances feel chaotic.
