I fly with Jaybird Because:

I took my first yoga class when I was about five years old and knew since then that movement paired with breathwork and mindfulness had powerful properties to bring yourself back home to your body. I discovered Jaybird in 2023 and fell in love with not only the space but the whole experience of getting out of your head and into your body through every class style. Jaybird is a home to me and I am grateful to be able to share this unique and valuable space and experience through teaching The Balance.

My journey to jaybird:

I completed my 200 hour yoga, trauma-informed yoga, and meditation teacher trainings between 2020 and 2021 and started teaching yoga, mindfulness, and sound healing sessions for non-profits in my community. I feel honoured to teach The Balance at Jaybird in their magical space at Kingsway as a born and raised Vancouverite. When I’m not at Jaybird, you can find me enjoying nature, cooking, playing soccer, and spending time with my friends and family.

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

Mindfulness is how I navigate through my daily life, through witnessing and feeling the power of all the senses in each moment as well as noticing the wisdom that the in-between spaces and stages of time offer. I love that Jaybird embodies the gifts that mindfulness gives for presence, emotional regulation, and self-awareness.
