3 Words to Describe My Teaching Style:
Inviting, Grounded, Empowering
My music style:
Expect feel-good house, global pop, and electronic, sometimes soulful, sometimes high-energy, always intentional. I love curating music that supports the flow of class and I’m always open to recommendations (and sharing playlists!).
I fly with Jaybird Because:
To me, Jaybird is a space to turn inward, move without comparison, and explore what your body can do with curiosity and care. I fly with Jaybird because it invites me to slow down, listen closely, and move in a way that feels supportive and freeing. Through joyful, mindful movement, I love helping others tap into both physical and mental strength, feel present, and become more at home in their bodies. As an instructor, my goal is for you to leave class feeling grounded, energized, and a little more connected to yourself.
My journey to jaybird:
With a background in music and degrees in kinesiology and nutrition, movement and wellness have always been central in my life. I found Jaybird first as a longtime client and felt an immediate connection to the way music, movement, and mindfulness come together here. Growing from student to instructor within this community has been incredibly meaningful and feels like a natural extension of what I value most about movement: curiosity, care, and connection.
What MiNdfulness Means to Me:
Mindfulness, to me, is awareness of the present moment and an honest relationship with what is happening within. Movement offers a powerful way to practice this by tuning into sensation, breath, and thought in real time. Especially when things feel challenging, mindfulness becomes a practice of gentle attention that we return to again and again.
